I've yet to see a bad review for the episode - two typical examples of what I'm seeing are
Arrow in the Head (sample:

Regardless, the series premiere of "The Walking Dead" was incredibly strong and also among the best this fall. If the rest of the series is this good, then the dead are going to walk the Earth for several seasons.)
I really hope the series does well and we get at least a couple of seasons out of this!
