Movie Review: Resident Evil: Afterlife

Just finished watching this movie and I'll be the first to say that I liked it, damn it!


I don't care that it trotted out all the standard features of a Resident Evil movie - what else can you expect in a Resident Evil movie, after all? Alice will kick ass in all kinds of unbelievable ways, villains will be archetypal and the horror will just keep on coming, wave after wave after wave. If you wanted complexity and originality, don't watch this or, for that matter, any of the series because none of them have that.

Fun? Yes
Profound? No.
