Overall, I haven't minded this series. The pace is glacial compared to the TV series but then I think that's an effect of the change of medium. Overall story arc so far - OK in my book. I notice the difference when I read the TPB's - because there's 4 or 5 installments all to read one after the other, the story flows a lot better than when I have to wait for whole month to find out what happens next.

I prefer the Angel comics. I liked the arcs and the change in the characters, The plot was wonderful.
In the btvs comics too many things happened that JW decided to not explain leaving me upset with the changes since they come out of the blue.

I have liked the Angel ones too - once Brian Lynch got on the job. A few of the first stories after the TV series finished were a bit ordinary. I did also like both the Spike miniseries that Brian wrote, in particular.
