Planetstrike stratagems

catalyst2I forgot to say that I got a quick look though the Planetstrike book yesterday - overall, I'm impressed because it is not just a slight re-write of the standard missions but a very substantial alteration to how games can run. I can't remember all the details but the book is well put together (literally with a solid spine that looks like it will actually last more than three days, unlike my SM codex!) with lots of photos and interesting ideas.
The bit that I liked was the stratagems section - 4 caught my eye in particular:
1)Krak attack - where a defender gets to lay a series of krak grenades over an area which trip off attacks on an opponent when they enter the area
2)Las maze - where a defender gets to set down some hidden pre-arranged fire lanes for lascannons, again triggered when the opponent enters the area
3)Force pylons - where a defender gets to erect a set of pylons, connect them (with red wool says the book!), any unit crossing that line getting fried and
4)Drop Pylon - where an attacker (I think) gets to drop in Force pylons via deep strike and scatter.
That's just a taste - it sounds like the battle field could be quite a minefield (in more ways than one!) just to get across.
