Day of the Triffids remake

catalyst2According to Total SCI FI, the BBC plans to remake this classic again, script written by ER and Law & Order writer Patrick Harbinson.
As a book, Day of the Triffids is one of my very favourite John Wyndham books but I'm not sure any filmed version yet has really got the feel of the book yet but maybe this one will. Mind you, this doesn't give me much hope: ..... Harbinson's version will update the story, which sees a world dependent on giant Triffid plants as an alternate source of fuel after the fossil fuel supplies run out .....
