It cost *how much*?

I was in Fremantle today and got dragged into Kailis Pearls by a co-worker. She wanted to look at pearl necklaces (ahahahaha - move along) so we looked at the Versatility strand. We looked at a very basic one with a small number of small fairly irregular pearls. The assistant said it cost AUS$25,600. She obviously mistook my look of horror for one of disappointment because she very quickly added that the better strands could cost up to AUS$200 000!

My house cost less than 200k! And all for a fairly ugly necklace (imo). My brain was utterly and profoundly boggled.
