Dexter's showrunner moves on

catalyst2Daniel Cerone has left Dexter to go to Dirty Sexy Money, according to Variety. I always got the impression that Cerone had a lot to do with the directions that the show went in - it was him, after all, who made the initial approach to Jeff Lindsay to start the whole process off, wasn't it?.
It might be anxious times for a little while until the new showrunner, whoever she or he may be, gets settled in. Sadly, Drew Greenberg is no longer there but Melissa Rosenberg has certainly contributed some great scripts - perhaps they will promote from within?
