28 Days of Lunch: Day eighteen (26th October)

A plate of mixed sushi and a can of Pepsi Max. The tamago sushi was very nice but unfortunately this was all overwhelmed by a very heavy handed use of wasabi on almost all of the other varieties on the plate. They were generous with the pickled ginger so that compensated to some extent.

Is the whitish one with the band of nori around it the tamago? What is it exactly? The salmon, tuna and prawn sushi look good - it's too bad they used too much wasabi, but pickled ginger is always good. I have a recipe for pickled ginger that I'd like to make some day.
