28 Days of Lunch: Day Two (10th October)
Nov. 7th, 2007 08:16 amTwo things were different today - I was at the Western Australian Maritime Museum in Fremantle for a conference and we got morning tea. I very rarely eat morning tea so I took a photo of that too.
Morning tea - this was a very nice chocolate chip cookie, soft but with lots of chocolate chips in. The muffin was strange but nice. It was a mixed berry perhaps because I found raspberry, blueberry and another berry-ish fruit in there

Lunch was a ham, cheese and lettuce wrap (in the white paper) - very fresh and both ham and cheese were tasty. With it was a chicken, tomato and lettuce baguette - very nice, with just the right balance between chewy and crunchy. There were also two small appetizers. The one by the baguette is chicken with a very strong cheese sauce on a crostini and the other one was a miniature herb pancake with a mustard and cream cheese mix with a coriander leaf - unusual flavours but nice. A very pleasant lunch overall and made even nicer by the fact that it was free as a part of the conference.
