Jane Espenson is writing a new show

According to Variety, Jane Espenson is one of three writers, the other two being Rockne O'Bannon and D. Brent Mote. Mote doesn't seem to have written much but with both O'Bannon's and Espenson's backgrounds, Warehouse 13 sounds potentially interesting.

Now, if she could rope in Doug Petrie and David Fury, I would be ecstatic.

I'm looking forward to this already. As I said on Whedonesque, anything Jane is involved in I will try - and Rockne O'Bannon is no slouch either.

It wasn't a name I knew but O'Bannon has done a lot of writing on shows that I like so I think this team might be a good writing team. Now if Jane could just get to be show runner too .....

That's my hope. I still wish her "Eutopia" project had been picked up. That sounded really interesting.

That and the Las Vegas showgirls series she keeps talking about on her blog - mind you, after Viva Laughlin's spectacular crash and burn, I don't think we'll see too many new series set there for a while!
