A major milestone reached

According to GRRM's LJ, principal photography has finished on Game of Thrones S1. Each time I read one of these things, it feels like the series is getting closer to reality (translation: in my grasp). I just hope that some channel (SBS, possibly or maybe even ABC2?) gets the series fairly soon after it's shown in the US.
