France vs Uruguay was exactly as I expected - the French gestured, pouted, ran frantically and threatened to be almost interesting while Uruguay made sure they didn't lose. The result was a loss - in interest.

South Korea provided the first win of the competition and thoroughly deserved it. Greece barely even got out of first gear and looked like they were so determined not to lose that they forgot how to win. South Korea, on the other hand, ran and passed and shot themselves into a good lead, which they never really looked like losing.
