My external hard drive just died - there was a power surge, the power went off for about 2 seconds and then came back on again. Net result? I can't get power to the drive.

Jan. 27th, 2010 10:35 pmHow come we call 1909 nineteen-oh-nine but 2009 as two thousand and nine? And suddenly it's 2010 and twenty-ten, not two thousand and ten? And how come 2000 was two thousand not twenty hundred?
