That was a nice surprise

The TV blew up last night - it was the vertical output circuit again, the same part that blew up in October. When we got it repaired then, they could only give a 60 day warranty so it was just out of date. Rather fork out for another repair that might only last about three months, we decided to buy a new TV, but not something too expensive.

Imagine my surprise when I got home from work today and there is sitting a 38-inch HD flat-screen TV! My brother-in-law had got it for some ridiculously low price because he knew someone who knew someone who knew etc etc. Net result? We have one very cool, very large and very cheap new TV! WOOHOO!
