You are just too literal
Oct. 2nd, 2009 10:00 pmI was explaining the premise of The 4400 to a friend (who admittedly doesn't get out much!) today and explained it this way:
"4400 people who have vanished over the last 50 or 60 years all reappear on Earth at the same time and in the same place. Then they find that-"
He(puzzled):That wouldn't work.
Me: How so?
Him: A column of 44000 people standing on each other's shoulders would just be silly, let alone a biological impossibility!
Me: Huh?
Him (meaningfully): 4400 people, same place .....
Me: Not exactly the same
Him: Then it's different if it's not the same
Me: You're not really going to let this go are you ......
