Spare a thought for these people

The "hell on Earth" that are the Victorian bushfires continues - some details here. The scale of this beggars belief and some of the TV news footage is just too distressing to watch. I am lucky enough to have no family or friends at risk at the moment but my heart goes out to those who have lost so much, sometimes everything but the clothes on their backs, and to those who have lost dear ones.

I almost feel optimistic .....

but then my common sense prevails and I become rational again. Still, I am liking the feel and look of this show more and more.
