Back and exhausted
Dec. 7th, 2008 10:02 pmGot back earlier this afternoon from Armourdale 2008, utterly exhausted by it all.
I can only say I was impressed by:
the organisation of it all - seemed to flow quite nicely
the facilities - given that there were 18 tables going simultaneously, there was a surprising amount of room to move
the friendliness - without exception, people were open and approachable, sometimes even volunteering the info before I asked and every single person I asked to take a picture of was only too keen to help
food and drink - lots of it and served really fast
the games - the time, effort and imagination people had put into their armies was just stunning and the range was extraordinary, ranging from a classic (but very effective) Rhino rush to an army that consisted of just three (very imaginative) figures.
Nice work guys! There were going to be photos but PhotoBucket is being an ass just now so that will have to wait until tomorrow.
