NaNoWriMo 08 Day twenty

Courtesy of another 4 am start, I managed 1817 words today. Hard going but I got something out. I'm not sure about another 4 am start tomorrow though - very tired now.

What is wrong wth you people?

There was a torrential downpour today on the way home. No-one seemed to notice - and within the next couple of kms, I watched three cars skid off the road, none hitting anything fortunately but only because of the wide shoulders on that stretch of the road. Didn't help them when we got to the lights though - the car in front of me rear-ended the one in front of him, as did the car next to me in the other lane hit the car in front of him. For a while there it was like dodgems except at 50 kph with a ton of metal in your hands!

Crazy!
