Dave Gibbons on Watchmen

In this report from the Bristol Comic Expo, Dave Gibbons remains as amusingly upbeat about the movie as ever:"Gibbons claimed that the film, if anything, "exceeds the level of detail in the comics" and said that he'll be "very surprised" if the film is anything other than fantastic."

Even more exciting was Gibbon's mention of this book: Watching the Watchmen. I want that book!

Second Watchmen video journal

Craveonline has the promised second video journal from the Watchmen set. I have to say that the amount and time and effort that they are putting onto the look of this movie (here it was Michael Wilkinson, the costume designer for the movie, who demonstrated the lengths that Snyder has gone to to get a look in sync with the movie) is impressive. Please, please let them have also paid as much attention to the script!
