Mmmmm ..... cake

OK, it's not the best tune ever but this sure as hell was the best cake ever. Thick slices of rich chocolate sponge, layered with cream with a touch of cherry liqueur and finally chopped nougat, all topped off with a thick layer of ganache, decorated with alternating cones of ganache and chocolate-dipped nougat, served with a dollop of creme fraiche and a dark chocolate/bitter cherry sauce. I nearly passed out from the ecstasy!
