Every so often I get a call from a local research organisation to go watch some TV - and get paid for doing so. All I have to do is fill out some questionnaires about what I thought of the programme. I've been doing it for about for years and I realised something - every programme I have ever watched with them has been utter crap and not one of them has ever made it onto TV here. Most have been from the US, some from the UK and one was from Singapore (I think?). I don't know where they drag them up from - they are some of the most appalling stuff I have ever seen. Still, I get paid so what the hell?

I'm staying at my brother-in-law's tonight and using his PC to post. He has a very strange setup that I'm finding awkward to use. He has an big flat screen - 27-inch, I think (?) but it is set about four feet away from the keyboard and about three feet higher than it. I'm all hunched and stretched at the same time. Really doesn't work for me, so much so that I can feel my right hip, the one I damaged at Xmas 2005, starting to spasm! Got to go!
