The Last Buffy novel?
Jul. 5th, 2007 11:17 pmAh crap, I only just read this interview with Kirsten Beyer, author of How I Met Your Mother One Thing or Your Mother. Great interview (as are all the SlayerLit interviews) but Kirsten does say that this is the last Buffy novel ever from Simon & Schuster. Damn (if she's right)!
The only (very faint) ray of hope is that another publisher picks it up and starts the range off again. Not that it's likely but if they started it as a truly adult line with longer and more complex stories than so many that have been published before, it could take off again. Realistically, it will be relegated to the great big pile o'dust in the sky but here's hoping!
