The game was good

Back from Perth - and I have to say that I enjoyed every moment of it. The weather just before the Dockers-Crows game started was appalling - rain so heavy I couldn't even see the other end of the field but fortunately that stopped not long after the game started. We got one more heavy shower during the game but our cheap $3 rain capes kept us bone dry. The game was a tight game with the sides never more than 12 points apart and the Dockers won on the very last kick of the game. Our tickets were front row seat just behind the goals - how cool was that for free tickets?

I'm really tired now so I will crash soon but I really enjoyed this.

Just a small splurge this time

While I was in Perth, I dropped into Quality Comics and Empire Toys as usual. I was fairly restrained this time: Firefly: The Official Companion: Volume Two, Angel Scriptbook Collection: Volume 2 and Redeemed: The Unauthorized Guide to Angel were the total extent of my buys. I've only had a quick look through all three but they all look fascinating reads. The only other thing I was tempted to buy was a Georges Jeanty-signed Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8: #1 (variant cover) but at AUS$60 that was too much even for an obsessive like me!
