*headdesk* Never rely on spell check!
Feb. 1st, 2007 06:40 pmGot a very irate e-mail at work today from someone I was helping with his search for work. I had sent an e-mail to him early in the morning and then had to rush out so I just did a spell check without proof-reading.
I thought my last line was OK: "Good luck on your job search."
Sadly, it actually read "Goose lick now you dog snatch."
How does that happen? A random string of letters, I could understand, recognisable but misspelled words I could also understand but to accidentally type every word wrong in a six-word sentence AND make it into a bizarre insult? I couldn't do it again if I tried!
