It's dinner at Bambino's so it must be Tuesday again - at least it was last night when I was there! Another nice dinner - pizza bianca (but not quite as good as last week's because somebody decided that adding a little cheese might be a good idea) and then more sceamingly hot food - this time fettucine alla matriciana. Biggest damn portion I have seen in a long time and a great mix of flavours. Despite being blisteringly hot, this meal avoided the bitterness that can sometimes come from that amount of chilli by balancing it out with other strong flavours. Very nice indeed, just slightly marred by the waitress taking my order as a quietly muttered "fettallamat" so that I had to ask several times what she was saying.

This was a remarkable movie that I really enjoyed - not in a "WOOHOO!", jump-up-and-down-in-my-seat kind of way but enjoyed in a thoughtful way.

First check of the watch - NEVER (and even stayed right to the very end of the credits)

The rest of the review is behind the cut because .. well ... spoilers... you know? )

Aaaah .... pain.

Just got a Toblerone bar as a present and it was as nice as usual, but I have a question.

I eat a bit of chocolate (OK, you got me, I eat a LOT of chocolate) so what is it with Toblerones and the foil sticking to the chocolate? Three times whilst eating today's 200g bar (yeah, yeah, whatever, move along, nothing to see here people), I have bitten down only to jerk back in pain as a piece of foil hits one of my fillings. This does not happen with any other type of chocolate and I eat a lot of sample a broad range of chocolate.
