From Hellmouth Central (Can't do an exact link because there's no permalink) there's a short comment from Georges Jeanty:

More from Georges Jeanty...

Georges gave us this High Quality version of the drawing to the left. You can click on the picture to check it out. The colors are from John Christopher.

He also gave us a hint as to what's going down in the comic book. The following is from an email from him...

"An FYI to any who care[s] in your camp, yes, I've watched the first season and am on to the second, but I have to watch S5 pronto, because apparently there's some reference there that I WILL need..."

What could that be? Hmmm...We shall see. Thanks to Seven for all of this.

All kinds of whacky speculation ensues at Whedonesque!

It may just be a scrap but anything I hear about this just gets me more excited - the picture isn't new but at least is hi-res. I hear desktops being altered across the globe, even as I speak!

Got up really late this morning, so late this morning, in fact, that I had to run out of the house without breakfast and with no shoes or socks on. I managed to put the shoes and socks on, one at a time, in the next 4 sets of traffic lights and then continued on my merry way. I felt a little uncomfortable but put it down to the haste and disorganisation of the morning. It is a long drive to work so I put it all out of mind until I got there.

It was only as I got out of the car and started walking over to the main building that I realised what the issue was.

My underwear was on backwards.

*sigh*

I am already interested in Dexter, having read the books last weekend but how did I not know that Julie Benz plays Rita?

This just makes me even more keen to see this programme. I always thought that Julie Benz' portrayal of Darla was one of the most nuanced and under-rated portrayals on AtS. Now she is is playing Rita - haven't seen her version (obviously) of Rita but if programme-Rita is anything like book-Rita, she will be inch-perfect for it.

Hot damn!

ETA: Holy crap - Drew Z Greenberg (writer of 6 BtVS eps: S6e9 Smashed, S6e14 Older and Far Away, S6e18 Entropy, S7e6 Him, S7e13 The Killer In Me and S7e19 Empty Places) is a writer on the show!

How did I not know that either?

Hot hot damn
