As the death toll climbs in Christchurch, it really doesn't look like there will be too much more good news:

Yeah, it looks fairly bad. I know I haven't lived there for almost eighteen years but this was the first place in the world that felt like home to me. Seeing those familiar streets full of rubble and favourite buildings destroyed is just disorienting, more than anything. I don't think I even feel sad yet.

I know how you feel. Last year there was an earthquake here too and it is beyond words.
