Just as Spartacus hits its stride, news that Andy Whitfield has had to quit due to a recurrence of his non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I wish him well and hope he's back on our screens soon.

And unfortunately, recurrences of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma really don't have good recovery rates compared to the initial instance. I wish him all the luck.

Oh no. That's even worse news. I hope he will be one of the small percentage who does beat it, and it never returns again.
