Sometimes an artist just takes my breath away

Two wonderful images, Simpsons and Futurama, both in anime style. If I try to pick a favourite, I change my mind every time I look. Marge? Leela? Krusty? Nibbler?







So good that the artist got work on The Simpsons!

Those are gorgeous. I think I like the Simpsons one the best, mostly because of the colors and the detail of the setting. They're both amazing, though!

In the interview with the creator, she definitely likes her Futurama work more but every time I look at The Simpsons one, I can see another great shot - Krusty snarling in the corner, Selma and Patti looking utterly cynical and world-weary as always, Smithers and Burns doing, well, whatever a billionaire and his lackey do, just so many perfect pieces assembled into a great composite. The Futurama one on the other hand probably looks "tighter" to the originals but not so perfectly in character. Both are, as you say, just amazing.
