Mr Buckethead's Day eight

The cat never ceases to amaze me - today he jumped up on the bench and lay down on the towel we use to cover the bench whilst we wash his wounds. He then meowed at us most insistently, almost demanding to get on with it!

I was long resistant to getting a cat - living in a bush area, they really can kill off wholes swathes of indigenous wildlife. Having had this cat for more than a year now, I remember why I like cats so much - it's that entire "You think you own me?" attitude that gets me. This one is, admittedly, one of the stupider cats I've owned, but he is a very funny cat to have around.
