Just watched an episode I recorded last night. The episode was from the classic McNee/Rigg era. I had forgotten just how funky and how .... well, Carnaby Street the whole thing was - that and the bloody awful acting! How did I think this series was so good when I was a kid?

The Avengers is another of the shows my parents watched. Gods I loved it. Mrs. Peel ruled.

She was the one saving grace in the whole episode - even Patrick McNee was a bit too jolly and "Cup of tea?" in this one. The villains were just awful. It was, of course a combination of both Mrs Peel's brains and her fighting skills that won the day. Got to love that!
