Sure, if I can just figure out a way to keep them refrigerated the whole way over to Portland! ;-) Mind you, they are so delicious that it might just be worthwhile!
Your post reminded me of the U.S. version of Turkish Delight, Applets and Cotlets. We used to get them every Christmas, but at some point that stopped and I missed them. I found out today that they sold the company and now they're called Harvest Delight.
I asked my parents today if they could get them for Christmas, and they mentioned getting real Turkish Delight from the Middle Eastern grocery in their neighborhood. Even better! So I may be getting Turkish Delight for Christmas, and all thanks to you. :)
Cool - always glad to add to the Xmas goodies list! I have to say that I have never heard of Applets and Cotlets! My favourite Turkish Delight is one from the E-Shed markets (http://www.fremantle.wa.gov.au/things2c/html/eshed_markets.cfm) in Fremantle - vanilla with pistachio nuts! Mmmmm!
Kind of, but with a crispy, crunchy thin layer of dark chocolate all around it. Oh, and a thin layer of Turkish Delight jelly on top of the ice cream. Mmmmm!
