It was a splurge but a controlled one ... sort of

Went into Perth to pick some tickets up - more on that later - and dropped into my two favourite stores while I was there. From Quality Comics, I grabbed BtVS S8 #13, BtVS S8 #14, BtVS S8 No Future For You TPB, AtS: ATF #5, AtS: ATF #6, AtS: ATF #7, AtS: ATF #1 Director's Cut, Serenity: Better Days #2, and Serenity: Better Days #3.

From Empire Toys, I got BtVS Omnibus #4 and finally, my one and only impulse buy: Serenity: Those Left Behind HC. I have never really liked the digest-sized Serenity: Those Left Behind TPB so I finally caved in and bought the HC. It looks very very nice.

I have some major reading to do!

Oh man I found an awesome comic books store on vacation and went a little nuts. I got Nextwve, some Ultimate comics and Gerard Way's Umbrella Academy.

I really liked it but I'm a huge MCR fan so I might be a little biased. I thought the art was gorgeous and story was really interesting.
