Television series, drama: "Dexter" WOOHOO!

Actor in a series, drama: Michael C. Hall, "Dexter" WOOHOO!

DVD release of a TV show: "Dexter, Season 1" WOOHOO!

The only category in which there was a Dexter nominee who was unsuccessful was "Actress in a supporting role in a series, mini-series or a motion picture made for television" for Julie Benz. BOOOOOOOOO! (that she didn't get the award, not to Julie Benz!)

Yes, we love us some Julie. Guess I'll have to check out Dexter at some point (don't have Showtime).

Dexter is definitely worth checking out - Michael C Hall and Julie Benz are just great as the leads and the S1 Arc is very well written. Another Jossverse connection: Drew Z Greenberg was a producer and writer on the show in S1 (he left before S2 started, sadly). It was released on DVD in R1 a short whole ago. Sadly I have to wait until February 14th for the R4 release.

Well four out of five isn't bad, it's not bad at all. Though five out of five would have been better.
