The Prefect Couple stepped up yet another notch for this series, thanks to the wonderful performance of Amber Benson.


Though a more straight-forward "mystery" than previous episodes, the thoroughly creepy levels of enjoyment that both Allison and Roddy Davis show in their part in the women's ordeals is quite unsettling. The final twist within a twist is nice too - not only does Roddy quite genuinely not know that Allison has been killing his rape victims but Allison gets a backbone for the first time - by killing Roddy. Web's utter innocence when the rest of the team charges in is so perfectly in character that, despite the sheer malevolence of his actions, I couldn't help but laugh. Damn it but I love this programme!

FOX, you are asshats x10 for cancelling this little gem of a series!!!

Oh it is long since dead - I think they only got 6 episodes broadcast before it got canned. Fortunately, there are another 7 that they had already made so we can at least watch those!

Amber Benson's performance in this episode freaked me the hell out. It's quite jarring to see her go from sweet, loving Tara to psychotic murderer Allison. Eek.

Did you see her play a vampire on Supernatural? That was pretty cool.

The part was so understated and I immediately leaped to the "That bastard Roddy, exploiting poor innocent Allison" conclusion that we were supposed to! Of course. Tim Minear being Tim Minear, nothing is quite what it seems!

Damn, I think I must have missed Amber Benson on Supernatural! Damn again!
