We're having a *what* party?

Just finished some voluntary work at a local organisation. At the end of the day there was a 5 kg pack of bacon that they had defrosted but not used so they gave it to me by way of thanks. I can't refreeze it and, whilst I love bacon, even I couldn't manage to make much of a dent in 5kg. Tomorrow I'm going to barbeque the lot at about 11 am and then walk around our cul-de-sac and offer it to anyone who wants some for lunch.

One of my Goners' friends was at a party last week where they served chocolate bacon!! She was not impressed. You may want to stay away from that choice! :D

Given that they're two of my favourite foods, I didn't think it was possible to find a way for me to dislike them (except chocolate with beetroot because beetroot? - just say no!) - but then I had never though of mixing the two together. Did they dip cooked bacon into chocolate or mix chopped bacon onto chocolate sauce or ....? How did this terrible thing come to pass?
