Movie Review: Inception
Having heard so much about this movie I wondered if it would meet the hype. "Hell, yeah!" appears to be my answer. Complex and well-acted, this plot to this movie is simple except that there are so many layers (especially in the second half where it switches so many times that it's easy to get lost).
I hope DiCaprio gets recognised for portrayal of the flawed and tortured Cobb.
Cobb's still dreaming, right? The top is still spinning on the table at the end and they skip the level 2 dream when they come back to the plane cabin or reality. The return is just too smooth and we never see what happens in the level 2 dream (the kidnapping in the warehouse) so my suspicion is that Robert Fischer (played by Cillian Murphy, who is rapidly turning into one of my favourite actors) had another level of defence trained into him that somehow tricked Cobb.
Or did I just really over-think that?
