We went to a picnic down at the beach today - not bad except for the fact that it was frakking freezing for anything outdoors. It was 24C, probably about 20C with windchill. Considering that our usual rule is that we don't go until it's about 35C, it was too cold to do much, I was just glad that I got delegated to barbecue duty - at least I could warm my hands over the grill!
