A very cool day

I managed to cross paths with leecetheartist and rdmasters so we arranged to meet for lunch on the Foreshore. A very pleasant hour was spent eating grilled Red Emperor, chips and green salad and then I want back to work, while Rob and Leece went back to kayaking their way around the estuary. In the evening, we got to cross paths again so we met up at their hotel room. We played a game of Hive which I lost rapidly and a game of Army of Frogs which I won but I think that was due more to luck than any planning on my behalf!

I did try to get the laptop to play the Survivors S1 DVD but couldn't get any sound. Instead we used Rob's notebook to watch an episode of The Legends of the Four Guardians which, I have to say, was pretty damned cool! All in all a great day - and I loved the Kraftwerk tribute from Bill Bailey.

Ah, I was far more focussed on my game, than I was on yours in Army of Frogs, which meant I didn't consider all the implications of my move.

If that's luck, you got yourself into a winning position somehow.
