"A Game of Thrones" starts shooting in October

According to Airlock Alpha, shooting will start this October in Northern Ireland on the first series, covering the first book - I think it was going to be 6 or 7 episodes to do that, with each season covering one book. Also confirmed are David Benioff and D.B. Weiss as writes and executive produces, with GRR Martin contributing as both co-executive producer and writer for at least one episode.
