What was I thinking?
I just watched The Brittas Empire S4 on DVD. I shouldn't have because this was nothing like my recollection of it. I thought this series was funny once - but I sat through the whole thing this time, stony-faced, bored, not a giggle or even a smile.
Just. Not. Funny.
Don't know if that means my memory is faulty or if my sense of humour has changed. Either way, I regret watching this - it's like finding that cockroach at the bottom of the bag of chips after you have eaten them all: no matter how nice the chips seemed at the time, you are left with a bad taste in your mouth and feel moderately nauseous!
