Finally, common sense!

The Cloverfield sequel is on hold until *shock* *horror* "the filmmakers can come up with an idea as interesting as the original" according to Matt Reeves.

This could only be news in Hollywood!

Although I suspect there's at least a few movies in which the story was a definite afterthought.
