It looks like Ridley Scott may be making a new version of Huxley's Brave New World, according to the Times Online. Sadly, it will probably star Leonardo DiCaprio.
It's a great novel by a wonderful writer. I haven't seen a film adaptation yet. And I am so very glad that Leonardo is said to play the lead in a mmovie based on the novel. I'd love him doing a science fiction movie!!! The role reminds me a littly tiny bit of his character in "The Beach". Why do you think, he is not suited for the role? I'm puzzled?!?
To be honest, I'm not sure that he would be suited to this kind of role. With the exception of his roles in Catch Me If You Can and The Aviator, I really haven't liked much that he's done. That said, much of that may have been just the wrong genre for me, rather than any fault in his acting ability.
