I bought a new mouse today. Without even looking, I grabbed the first USB mouse under $20 that I could find. When I got it home, I discover:
1. It is red.
2. It feels like velvet - but it's some kind of coating on most of the surfaces.
3. It lights up - but not just boring red or green, this is a flashing red - yellow - orange - green - blue - purple array in random order AND
4. Coolest of all, the flashing matches the speed at which I move and/or click the mouse.

So. Frakking. Cool.

There's a USB mini mouse for the Mac that lights up red like that. It's so cute. I originally wanted one for my ibook because I used to detest track pads, but now I'm used to it. A mini mouse would be cool but it would be also slower to reach for it everytime I wanted to click on something.

I find it really hard to use the track balls, - the muscles in my forearm seem to go into some king of spasm so I stick to mouses. It's the range of flashing colours that fascinates me!
