We went up to Perth on the train again today - the novelty still hasn't worn off for me after 14 years with no train so I have to get this out of my system:

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

- and I'm back.

I went to Quality Comics and managed to get a copy of BtVS S8 Issue 10 (Chen cover) - only eight days after release - this must set some kind of record for speed here! I noticed that they had a really big pile of Issues 4 through to 8, all with Chen covers on. BtVS S8 must be proving popular if they are ordering so many extra copies.

I dropped into Empire Toys too and got a copy of The Psychology of Joss Whedon: An Unauthorized Exploration of Buffy, Angel, and Firefly. I have only just started reading it but it is already quite interesting. I didn't buy anything else so I was proud of myself.

Actually, I lie a little - I didn't buy anything else only because I didn't see anything else, not really because of any exercise of self-control!

Probably not Genghisconning this year - with my back so fucked up at the moment, I couldn't do any of the physical activities and I have to move around so frequently to stop the muscles tightening that I'm like a twitchy, albeit slow-moving, jack-in-the-box just now!
