Holidays!

I am on holiday until 14th January. WOOHOO!

No more pants! WOOHOO!

I can post on LJ all day - no wait, I do that any way at work. I can eat any time I want - no wait, I do that any way at work. How's the holiday different from work then? That's right - NO WORK!.

Congratulations! I thought I was doing well being on holidays until January 7th but you've done me a week better.

And I still wear pants even if I'm not working (no matter what those Americans say on the Goners board!! :D), why don't you?? O.O

It came from a famously misunderstood comment of mine years ago when I said, on the first day back to work after the Xmas holidays, "It's the first time I've worn pants this year!" (meaning pants as opposed to jeans or shorts) but for the next six months or so, I got e-mails addressed to The Man With No Pants!

Okay, I understand now. On Goners, the Americans are convinced that Canadians don't wear pants because one person's friend used to work at LL Bean and said that Canadians would order everything except pants!!

Of course, it doesn't help that Nathan likes to walk around in a kilt or skort?!

I hadn't thought of the kilt/skort option but believe me, I don't have the legs to carry off that look, unlike Nathan!

The biggest difference is probably the NO PANTS.

I have tried the "no pants" thing at work but it really doesn't work well!

At least you tried.

I suspect several co-workers really wish I hadn't!
