Drive 3

I am starting to warm up to this series now that we are starting to get down to the essence of the characters

Can I just say first that Nathan Fillion rocks? OK, now I have got that out of my system, I have nothing else to say about this episode.

Just joking - plenty happened here but the biggest transformation was in Alex where the "simple" landscape gardener (and did anyone *really* think that that was all his backstory was going to be about, *really*?) showed his true colours. The reveal was great though and the way that it was done was so devious and manipulative that it stunned me. When the "police officer" broke that mirror, I thought Kathryn Tully was going to be there and this was all her plot to get Alex back to his wild ways (because that's what attracted Kathryn to him in the first place and he was now a boring corporate drone maybe?) Still, the reveal that followed was still great.

I loved the lesson in lying that Violet gave to John, only for us (but not her) to find that John is just so much better a liar than she would ever imagine!

I also loved the way the wide-eyed (and rather intense) Wendy "suggested" to Ivy that she out the baby carrier back in the car. Definitely a lot more to learn about Wendy, I think!

I can't say that I am too interested in Rob and whatever-her-name-is. I think that just demonstrated how little I care because she's the only regular whose name I can't remember!

Glad to see that Sean showed a bit of grit and stood up for himself this week. That pairing will be interesting to see how they go in the next few weeks.

I can't remember seeing Leigh and Susan in this episode - mind you, they're probably still stuck at Cape Canaveral aren't they (after Ivy shot out their tires)?

Next week, I hope we get to see what's on the movie - Alex especially needs to see it since he missed the orientation!
