That was cold to say the least

Spent a very cold, wet and generally unpleasant afternoon at Harvey today - it hammered down and the wind was so strong it blew the rain almost horizontally at times. We were stuck outside too, watching Junior firefighters games, Still, everybody assures me that that this is as bad as it gets so it all gets better from here.

*cough*

(and we do always need the rain, it's true, but still can't it just fall vertically rather than be lashed into my face?)
