I have to say that I was largely disappointed in this game as two skillful attacking sides neither attacked nor showed many skills for most of the game. Few of the Dutch stars shone with van Persie having an awful game. When the Dutch brought on their winger Elia, the game transformed with his speed and width revitalising the side. His shot on goal gifted Kuyt a tap-in but it was Elia's in inspiration. The Danes tried hard but lacked any real punch in their attack although Gronkjaer's pace did cause some problems. The much-vaunted Eriksen came on but didn't get any opportunity to shine. In the end, 2-0 to the Dutch was a fair result.
