The only good thing ....
.... that makes this time of year OK (41C today, 42C tomorrow and 39C on Sunday - YAY!!) are the chocolate chip hot cross buns from Baker's Delight. These buns are the perfect mix of cinnamon and chocolate and very soft and fresh. Delicious! Grabbed two this morning - the first of the year (and I think just a little early for Easter!) and they were as good as ever.
We are off to the beach soon so that should (not) be fun! I hate the beach, but I won't bore you with that as I end up ranting as always about just *how much* I hate it.
